Bobcat Rank

The first rank that EVERY boy earns when entering the Cub Scouting Program is the Bobcat rank.

Tiger Cub

Tiger Cubs is the introduction to the scouting program for first grade boys and is intended to open up the world to inquisitive minds.

Wolf Scout

If a Cub Scout has completed the first grade and has earned the Bobcat Badge, he may start earning the Wolf rank. To earn the Wolf rank a Cub Scout must complete 58 tasks out of a possible 74 tasks that are offered in the book.

Bear Scout

If a Cub Scout has completed the second grade (or is 9 years old) and has earned the Bobcat Badge, he may start earning the Bear rank.To earn the Bear badge, a boy must complete 12 of the 24 specified achievements from four different groups: God, Country, Family, and Self.

Webelos Scout

Webelos is a 20 month program for 4th and 5th grade boys to prepare to join a Boy Scout troop while learning outdoors skills and participating in 20 different activity badges.

Arrow of Light Award

      The highest award in Cub Scouts is earned by Webelos that have been active
                              participants in their den and are ready to join a Boy Scout troop.

           The United States Heritage Award was designed to give youth recognition for learning
